Kick ass junk metal sculpture

homeblogmastodonthingiverse

Just found a mind blowing gallery of junk metal sculpture, 259 Elizabeth St. in Melbourne, above an optometrist's shop (importing these things seems to be a rapidly expanding sideline for the optometrist).

The item you see on the right is one of the smaller, less detailed pieces. The gallery had aliens climbing the walls, predator, mecha, and Darth Vader statues several feet high, and a table and chair set with an alien supporting the table and the chairs supported by face huggers.

The shopkeeper said they are made by someone in Thailand, but didn't know the actual name of the artist, and the guy running the gallery wasn't in. Anyone know who makes these things?

Update 22/2/2006: Apparently they are made by a group called Robot-Models.com (thanks Famous).
